Types of golf clubs:
Golf clubs are the main thing in the golf game, there are several different types of golf clubs : woods, irons, wadges, potter and some utility or hybrid clubs. Don't get confused, it's very simple after you will read the information abput each one. We collected the important information about each club type becasue there is so much information about clubs types, and even people that their main job is to sell clubs.
Any golf club has three basic parts:

Woods
Woods golf clubs probebly will be in every golfer bag, the most common are 3 wood and 5 wood clubs. 7 wood and 9 wood, are for womans and seniors. those clubs called wood because their clubhead made of woods. The woods clubs group might be the hardest club to control for begginers, because it is the longest club in the golfer bag, as much as 45 inches, which makes it the hardest club to swing.
Irons
These group called irons because their clubheads made of metal. Woods clubs are also made of metal, but the clubheads are different. These clubs type are for begginers and pro's, depends the style of iron ypu choose.
Wedges
Wedges are irons, but generally seperate them from the iron group, because they are specialized irons. Most golfers use the gap-wedge, sand-wedge and lob wedge to deal with hazards. Also, those clubs are very focused and known on their accuracy, also called "scoring clubs."
Putters
Putter is the most common used club in golf, specially for begginers. The varieties of putters on the market are bigger then any club, because choosing a putter is a very personal proccess. There is no "Right" putter, each putter is right for each people. Putters are generally come in three different styles of clubhead, and also with three varieties of lengths. The clubheads might be a traditional blade, a heel-toe clubhead, or a mallet clubhead.
Utility Clubs/Hybrids Utility clubs and hybrids are getting more and more popular, because of there deisgn to be easier to hit for all golfers. They combine elemnts from both woods and irons clubs. And will probebly be the next main clubs at the golfers bag.
The Parts of the Club Head
The head of the golf club has several parts: the hosel, the face, which strikes the ball, the sole, which is the part closest to the ground, and the back, which is on the side opposite the face.
-
The grip - the part you hold made of rubber or leather
-
The shaft - the part that connects the grip to the head made of either steel or a carbon-fiber and resin composite. The stiffness of the shaft is another variable. Most manufacturers rate their shafts in one of six degrees of stiffness. From least to most stiff they are:
-
L - Ladies
-
A - Seniors
-
R - Regular
-
F - Firm
-
X - Extra Firm
-
S - Stiff
-
The head - the part that actually hits the ball, made of woods, irons and putters.
Golf tip
Most important - as you can see all the golf equipment is very heavy and akward and as a golf course is very large it is also recommended to hire a golf cart and to prevent sun burn or sun stroke to hire the golf cart with a golf cart cover.
